Power-Sonic TPPL Batteries
Thin Plate Pure Lead
The right battery for each layer of your data center.
Power-Sonic’s Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) batteries are built for systems where power loss isn’t an option. These batteries support data centers, telecom infrastructure, industrial UPS systems, and other always-on applications that demand predictable performance and long service life.
Selmark supports Power-Sonic TPPL batteries across New England, providing application guidance, product selection help, and local follow-up.
What makes TPPL different
TPPL batteries use very thin plates made from high-purity lead. This design improves both float life and high-rate discharge performance compared to conventional VRLA batteries. All Power-Sonic TPPL batteries are sealed, maintenance-free AGM designs.
For always-on infrastructure, this translates to:
-
Longer service life and fewer replacements
-
Higher power and energy density in a smaller footprint
-
Stable performance during high-current UPS events
-
Sealed, maintenance-free AGM construction
Power-Sonic’s TPPL portfolio is intentionally split into two platforms to match how different backup systems actually operate.
